" China Juice 2006" will be grandly held from August 31 to September 2，2006 in Beijing. The theme of the conference is to " Strengthen the Co-operation of Fruit Juice Industry and Promote its World Business Contacts ”. The conference will provide a platform for world juice industry to exchange informations on production, market, as well as technical co-operations, product exhibition, trade talks and business opportunities.

　　In order to further strengthen exchanges and co-operations between Chinese and overseas fruit juice industries and promote the development of the Chinese and overseas fruit juice industries，we have decided to make the annual Chinese fruit juice conference into an internationally professional fruit juice conference, providing a dynamic platform to our overseas colleagues of the industry every year.

　　This conference is sponsored by China Chamber of Commerce for Import/Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-products (CFNA) and undertook by its affiliated Chamber of Fruit Juice with the support from the Chinese government agencies, news media and relevant Chinese enterprises. All the member enterprises of CFNA Chamber of Fruit Juice，whose output and export volume of fruit juice account for more than 95 % of the total amounts in China, will attend the 2006 conference.

China is not only an important fruit juice producing and exporting country，but also an important fruit juice consuming and importing country. Since 2002, Chinese fruit juice consumption as well as fruit juices import have been increasing every year. However, compared with yearly average consumption of 70 liters per capita in developed countries, China still has a huge market to develop.
